Amazon delivers just about anything – and we’re not just talking about packages. Prime Day is Amazon’s biggest annual shopping event. And this year, just like last year, Amazon is delivering not one but two Prime Days. The first one came in July (the real Prime Day) and the second one, which is officially here, is Prime Big Deal Days, and runs from October 10th to the 11th.
Amazon and Google are rivals in the smart home security space, with both brands offering smart voice assistants, security cameras, and video doorbells. During Prime Days, though, they come together to give Amazon shoppers access to discounted home gadgets. Just how much can you save on Google Nest security cameras this Prime Big Deal Days sale? Are There Be Google Nest Cam Deals?
The answer to that is both “yes” and “no.” Officially, we haven’t seen any Prime Big Deal Days discounts for Google Nest cameras. However, there are limited-time deals. The beauty of that is you don’t have to be a Prime member to enjoy the savings, so literally anyone can join in and take advantage of the lower prices.

Another thing to note is that there were a couple of heavily-discounted bundles from Google’s Amazon store. The first one was a set of two Nest Cam (battery) cameras selling for $239.99, or about $120 each, which is the same as the sale price of the Nest Cam (battery). The other one was even better: $269.99 for the Nest Cam with floodlight and Nest Cam (indoor, wired) cameras. With that price, lucky shoppers saved a total of $110.

Any other deals from Google? Back to Google Nest territory, we also found discounts for the brand’s famed smart thermostats, the Nest Learning Thermostat and the Google Nest Thermostat. They are both $40 off.
Pricing on Nest Cams
There’s no getting around it: Nest Cams are expensive. Their popular battery-powered outdoor camera is a sobering $179.99. Don’t worry, it’s natural to flinch; we did, too, at first.
There are some high-end Arlo camera systems that come close to this price, but by and large, it’s not too often that we find a single camera at the price point of a Nest Cam.
But we’re talking about some of the smartest home security technology available today. To us, that means you’re paying for more than brand prestige and rock-solid hardware; you’re also getting a product that will monitor your home effectively and efficiently.
FYI: We all know Google and Amazon don’t always play well in the sandbox. But that’s what’s great about Prime Day: Regardless of the brand, this shopping bonanza is always an ideal time to save money on lots of consumer tech, home security, and smart home gadgets.

In any discussion about Nest Cams, we always make a point to note that these devices, with Google pulling the strings, really do take smart home security to another level entirely. And, like the best wireless cameras in the industry, you’ll also get smooth 1080p HD video with HDR, advanced motion and person detection, and a super-customizable mobile app.
As far as cost-savings, Nest Cams offer packages and bundles throughout the year so you can buy multiple cameras and devices as a system and save a few bucks. That’s a common practice you’ll find in this industry year-round, but particularly during sale holidays. During this Prime Day October sale that’s happening now, however, keep your eyes on the Google store on Amazon; deals and discounts abound.
