Features

Medical Guardian offers both at home protection (1300 feet) as well as mobile service with an unlimited range. There are no shipping or activation fees and no cost for the equipment.

LifeStation plans are paid on a monthly basis. The In-Home Landline package costs $19.95/monthly. The In-Home Wireless packages are $26.95/monthly. The Mobile with GPS package costs are $24.95/monthly.

Equipment

Medical Guardian includes a base unit and your choice of a pendant, bracelet, or clip-on device. Devices offer limited, two-way communication. Equipment is waterproof and can be worn in the shower. Lockboxes are also offered.

With LifeStation, you receive a base unit and a choice of several different devices. They offer waterproof pendants and wristbands, as well as clip-on devices for belts. You can also choose a lockbox, mobile emergency button, and bathroom/hallway buttons for additional protection.

LifeStation is a good choice if you don't mind spending more for the level of service they offer. They do offer the convenience of pre-paying for the first nine months so you don't have to worry about a bill for the first few months.
