It’s also a good idea to keep an eye on their website, where Arlo is always offering a deal. Right now the Essential Spotlight Camera is marked down from $129.99 to $69.99, and the Essential Indoor Camera, which usually costs $99.99, is only $59.99.

The biggest shopping week of the year is typically an excellent time to save on home security equipment, and this is no different with Arlo. You might not know when exactly certain cameras and packages will go on sale, simply because they vary so much depending on where the cameras are sold. But it’s definitely possible to find a good deal.
Arlo Ultra 2
The bottom line with Arlo, in my experience, is that you might have to do some cursory bargain-hunting to find the best holiday deals on their cameras. For what it’s worth, I did see that Amazon, Walmart, and Office Depot all announced sales in the lead-up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday last year, with up to $100 savings on some of the brand’s higher-resolution cameras, Arlo Ultra and Ultra 2.
Arlo’s Best Deals on Amazon Prime Day
Whether you’re a longtime security camera user or you’re just starting out, Amazon Prime Day is a great time to choose an Arlo camera. With Arlo, I’ve spotted several noteworthy discounts on the brand’s doorbell and wireless camera systems, including a 25 percent discount on the Arlo Pro 3 two-camera home security system for Prime Day – roughly $100 in savings. That was in 2020, the same year the Arlo Ultra system rolled out with a sweet two-for-one deal for Prime Day.

Final Thoughts on Arlo Deals and Discounts
While you’ll probably end up paying more up front for Arlo than for Blink or Ring cameras, it’s still worth noting that Arlo’s equipment is very durable and holds up really well out in the elements, which is not necessarily a given in this market. I always appreciate a camera I can trust wholeheartedly in terms of equipment; in Arlo, I can also trust the reliability of the camera itself, which justifies the cost for me.
All this is to say: Arlo cameras aren’t cheap, but they are also extremely trustworthy. For that, Arlo remains a top pick as one of the best home security cameras out there.
