With 30 years’ experience in law enforcement across multiple ranks and positions, Lawrence Scottini understands the business of security.
Early in his career, Scottini served as Deputy Sheriff for the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department. Moving on from there, he secured a position as Senior Police Officer/Detective with the Los Angeles Housing Authority Police Department. Here he held the title of Acting Sergeant for patrol and trained new officers while conducting investigations.
Later Scottini moved into the Los Angeles Airport Police Department as Police Officer II. Providing specialized law enforcement and security to the aviation community, Scottini would regularly assist FBI, DEA, FAA, Homeland Security, and other departments in solving complex investigations. He dealt heavily in security management, and regularly investigated theft, fraud, and embezzlement.
Most recently, Scottini served as Security Consultant and Investigator at Regal Logistics, where he designed, developed, and implemented security protocols. He conducted several theft investigations, many of which led to successful prosecutions. In this role Scottini also participated in Risk Management investigations and monitored CCTV security systems.
Scottini holds a degree in Administration of Justice from El Camino College in Torrance, CA.
