IdentityForce provides identity theft protection on many levels including medical identity and the opening of bank and credit accounts. They also assist in identity restoration and removing personal information from databases that are found online. Identity Force also monitors any changes in address or personal information as it appears.

Financial & Credit Monitoring

LifeLock sends alerts that have to do involve both credit and non-credit forms of threats. They provide access to credit reports from all three reporting agencies with their most advanced plans. LifeLock also monitors your financial accounts to determine if and when any new accounts are opened and any abnormal charges or changes that are made to the accounts.

IdentityForce proactively monitors all aspects of your credit. IdentityForce can also prevent credit card companies from sending you pre-approved offers. They offer a monthly score tracker that notifies you whenever your credit score changes. They also can effectively stop service on credit and bank cards if your wallet is lost or stolen.

Identity Restoration & Insurance Coverage

LifeLock will spend up to $1 million with their most advanced package to help recover your identity and resolve any issues that stem from the fraudulent activity on your accounts. They will reimburse any funds that are stolen that fall within the limits of the customer's chosen plan.

IdentityForce includes both fraud resolution and identity theft resolution. They offer $1 million worth of coverage to customer's who have subscribed to their advanced plans. They will complete all of the necessary paperwork and make phone calls that are needed to resolve any issue that arises from your identity being compromised.

Pricing & Plans

LifeLock's basic plan costs just under $10 per month (or $110 per year). The advanced plan costs approximately $25 per month (or $275 per year). If minor children are covered, they cost an additional $6 per month, per child.

IdentityForce costs approximately $18 a month (or $180 per year) for the basic package or $24 per month (or $240 per year) for the advanced package. IdentityForce offers a 14-day free trial.

Summary: LifeLock vs Identity Force

LifeLock is a good choice if you are looking for quality service at an affordable price and if you aren't overly concerned about constant monitoring. They do however, offer instant access to TransUnion that many people believe to be beneficial.

IdentityForce is for those who want a deeper level of protection that extends to insurance policies and vehicle information. They also include coverage that extends to court records and sex offender monitoring.
