Learn More About Arlo

Between these two security systems, our favorite is Arlo.

SecureScore™: 8.0/10

The Arlo security system is camera-based and does not rely on entry sensors to trigger alerts. Cameras have built-in motion sensors that will turn the camera on if various degrees of movement are detected.

By strategically placing multiple cameras in various areas of your home, Arlo's manufacturer believes that they can prevent break-ins and theft, keeping your home secure and family protected.

Overview: Arlo Pro vs Arlo Pro 2

Arlo Pro and Arlo Pro 2 need to have the base station in place in order to function. The same base unit can be used to control both the Pro and Pro 2 cameras and acts as the primary connector between your home's Wi-Fi and the Arlo system. The Pro and Pro 2 are similar in many ways but the Pro 2 offers added perks that allow for more control of the system and more in-depth security. Both the Pro and Pro 2 are a step up from the basic Arlo system. If you have an older Arlo system, both the Pro and Pro 2 cameras can be integrated into it.
